But Uncle Murda still dropped a bombshell at the end of 2022. The New York rapper released his yearly “Rap Up” song on New Year’s Eve, keeping with tradition.

Extending the track’s 15-minute running time, the 42-year-old doesn’t hesitate in addressing the various events that have happened in both hip-hop and pop in his culture over the past 12 months.
One of the many artists he mentions is Bobby Shmurda. He refers to the falling out between the “Hot Ngga” rapper and his NBA YoungBoy early last year.
Within the first stanza, he raps, “NBA Youngboy had Rich The Kid shaken / Over a tiny picture with Lil Durk that he snapped / Hope he knows Bobby Shmurda and Rich The Kid are different / Bobby will boom you, n*gga, watch who you mention.”

Later, the “Hot N*gga” rapper added his viewpoint, allegedly criticising YoungBoy and Rondo.
